The second model produced by Tesla motors was Tesla Model S also known as WhiteStar. This model is a sedan, and it was cheaper and therefore more affordable for consumers. The concept of this car was presented in 2009, but the deliveries began only in 2012. Unlike the previous model, this one had two electric motors.
There are also two Tesla motors models that have been already announced but not produced yet. The first one of these is Tesla Model X, a SUV, peculiar by the presence of the third line of seats, automatic back doors and the special design. The launch was re-scheduled several times and will probably take place by the end of 2015.
The second one of these models is Model 3 which will become the successor of the Model S by Tesla and the most affordable car by Tesla motors in the auto market. Besides, it will also have great specs. The deliveries of this car are expected to start in 2017.
