Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus company has officially unveiled its new Stradale model designed for conventional roads and Competizione model for tracks. As for other aspects, these two cars are identical.
These autos are based on the previous models by Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus. They belong to the third generation. For this reason, they have 003 in the titles. While Stradale or SCG 003S is a road-going auto and Competizione or SCG 003C is a racing car, both of them have chassis made of carbon fiber. The version designed for conventional roads is powered by a twin-turbo engine with six cylinders.
As for the race version, it will have an improved Honda’s engine with 3500 cubic cm capacity and six cylinders, which develops 530 hp and 700 Nm of torque. This version has the weight of 1,350 kg and wheels of 18 inches. The car has both rear and front suspension with double wishbone, adjustable dampers, and rear and front roll bars operated by a pushrod.
Although SCG 003C is an only-race car, a manufacturer promised it would be possible to convert it into a road car. The debut of SCG 003C is expected to be at Nürburgring 24 touring race and the sales of SCG 003S will start by the end of 2015.
