The V70 is the fifth Volvo model to receive the R-Design package and will be launched in the UK in August with prices starting from £26,745 for the V70 2.0 petrol R-DESIGN. Price for the regular V70 is around £2,000 less.
Volvo cars have always been practical, safe and usually boring. With the R-Design it is far from being boring. I would say it is very stylish in its own way and I would not mind driving it at all. Plenty of room, plenty of power with style. Swedes would probably just say förfinad!
The V70 R Design features a sports chassis which has been lowered by 20mm at the front and 15mm at the rear and has stiffer anti-roll bars and bushings and more responsive steering feedback giving the driver that extra sporty feeling. It has 10 inch rims, chromed exhaust pipes and you can choose from 11 different exterior colors.
