From car racing to the street: In May 2008, two Scirocco GT24 race cars finished first and second in their class at the 24-hour race on the Nürburgring track. Now Volkswagen is presenting a street version of the race car at the Bologna Motor Show: the Scirocco Studie R has a 198 kW / 270 PS engine for everyday practicality, yet it still delivers aggressive propulsive power.
This power is distributed by a 6-speed dual clutch transmission. Adapted directly from car racing are the coilovers, four-piston brake calipers and a sound-optimized exhaust system.

We are not the biggest fan of Lambo doors(unless it is a Lamborghini), but this Volkswagen Scirocco by Rieger Tuning is one of the hottest aftermarket Scirocco’s we have seen.
Tuning package includes lambo doors, side skirts, rear roof spoiler, new front and rear bumpers, quad exhaust pipes, new lower springs and 3-style wheels either in 19-inch or 20-inch size.

Just in time for the Essen Motor Show, MTM introduces the MTM Scirocco R with its specially developed tuning components.
The program for the VW Scirocco includes three different performance enhancements: 245, 250 or 272 horsepower, a MTM Clubsport running gear, a 4-pipe exhaust system with rear skirt attachment, a 8-piston MTM Brembo brakes and also exclusive, sportive ”bimoto“ rims.

According to folks at the Car Magazine , Volkswagen is working on the high-performance version of its sportiest car Scirocco.
Currently known as the R20T, it will use the same 2.0-liter turbo found in the new Audi S3. This 265 hp engine will take the Scirocco from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in less than six seconds. Top speed will be limited at 155 mph (255 km/h).

Volkswagen has announced a new entry-level specification and two additional engines for the Scirocco coupé, which are now available for ordering from Volkswagen Retailers.
Prices for the entry-level model, fitted with a 1.4-litre TSI 160 PS engine, start at £18,790 RRP on the road, opening the possibility of Scirocco ownership to a wider audience.
At launch in September, the Scirocco was only available in range-topping GT trim.

Scirocco is the hottest looking Volkswagen out there currently and now ABT is making it even hotter.
Aerodynamic changes include a new ABT front spoiler, ABT Side skirts, ABT Rear skirt set, consisting of a rear skirt and a diagonally attached 4-pipe rear muffler forms a sporty unit together with the ABT Rear wing.
ABT Sportsline recommends either its BR or AR alloys as an ideal complement to the extravagant body kit of the shooting star. The wheels are available in 18 to 20 inch and of course with fitting tires and wheel spacers.

Volkswagen presented Scirocco GT24 last week in GTI Meet at the Wörther Lake.
Scirocco GT24 has 239 KW (325 hp) and the car took part of the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring last weekend.
Now Volkswagen has released a promotional trailer for the race-ready VW Scirocco GT24 from that 24-hour race at the Nürburgring.
