Though we have seen the real thing on different spy pictures there is room to speculate how the car will look without all the camouflage.
Now a very talented artist Jon Sibal has created a rendering of the SLR Speedster. It looks just awesome. There is no doubt that the car will find its spot between all the other special and exclusive supercars.

We have brought you pictures of the Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR Speedster from the Nürburgring before.
This time the car is back on the Nürburgring with a new detail on the rear. For some reason it has a rear spoiler that it did not have on the first tests. We assume that the car before had some problems and did not have enough downforce. It looks to be a fixed-type spoiler that is not adjustable.

Say no to windscreen and roof. This here is the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Speedster.
To keep the weight down a plastic body will be used. It will not have power windows or air conditioning.
Speedster version is 200kg lighter than the SLR 722 Edition.
The 5.5-liter supercharged V-8 is believed to be left untouched, but will be mated to an all-new exhaust system that will allow the motor to churn out more that the stock 617 horsepower.
