SEAT León range has been extended with the arrival of the Línea R version. There are two gasoline and one diesel engine available.
The first is the efficient 170 hp 2.0 TDI diesel, gasoline engines are a 160 hp 1.8 TSI and the 200 hp 2.0 TSI unit. 2.0 TSI comes with either a manual or DSG twin clutch automatic gearbox.

JE DESIGN once again proves itself to be one of the fastest tuners in the business with the new 3-door Seat Ibiza SportsCoupé, which just came onto the market.
Ibiza SC kit includes a front spoiler, a sport radiator grill, headlight eyebrows, side skirts, a roof edge spoiler and a rear apron attachment with a carbon look. All parts are available for the practical Seat Ibiza 5-door and for the cutting-edge, sporty 3-door Seat Ibiza SportsCoupé.

SEAT presents for the first time the new Exeo to the international public. By this new sporty middle class limousine, the Spanish car manufacturer extends its model range, offering for the first time a limousine in the important B-segment. Basically Exeo is a re badged previous generation Audi A4. Considering the platform is seven years old it is not so new at all.
The new EXEO will be launched with three petrol-engines (from 75kW / 102 HP to 147 kW / 200 HP) and three common rail Diesel engines of latest generation (from 88 kW / 120 HP to 125 kW / 170 HP). Five of these six engines are turbo engines.

The Seat Ibiza ECOMOTIVE achieved a major triumph in the 10th Eco Tour, a tough, fuel-efficient challenge driving cross-Europe that took place between 13th and 19th September. The Spanish brand’s vehicle not only finished first place in the “small diesel” class but was also the overall winner with average fuel consumption of 3.8l / 100km (61.9 mpg)
A total of 42 teams from 14 different countries – including participants from Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and Italy - took part in the Eco Tour 2008.

First generation Seat Leon was introduced in 1999 and was replaced with the second one in 2005. Leon uses the Volkswagen A platform and shares other components with the Volkswagen Golf, Audi A3 and Škoda Octavia.
Current Leon has been on sale three years now and gets a first facelift with redesigned front and rear, new lights, bumpers.

In addition to the Ibiza Cupra Seat’s third addition to the Ibiza range is ECOMOTIVE.
The new Ibiza ECOMOTIVE will be launched at the Paris Motor Show with a revamped styling and the reputation of being the most ecological car of its segment, by placing the CO2 emissions level at only 99 g/km. These figures will also allow customers to save on registration tax when buying the new Ibiza ECOMOTIVE.

Our daily readers have already seen the new Cupra prototype that was spotted on the Nürburgring in June. The car had no Cupra badges and also missed the new exhaust and other exterior details.
Now we have first images and details of the new 180 hp Cupra.

The London Motor Show is the first car showcase where SEAT is publicly displaying the new Ibiza SportCoupé, the vehicle that completes the Spanish brand’s range of this successful model after the launch last May of the five-door version, and whose new exterior design and compact coupé styling greatly increase its sporty appeal.
The Ibiza unit chosen by SEAT is characterised by the addition of customisation elements on the Sport version that heighten the new model’s already good looks, and reflects the strategy introduced at the international trade press presentation of gradually increasing the possibilities of customising the Ibiza SC.

New Seat Ibiza Cupra spotted on the Nürburgring. Sportier Ibiza Cupra will be based on Seat Sportcoupe three-door Ibiza. It has new front bumper with larger air intakes, twin-pipe exhaust system.
It will be powered by a twin-turbo 1.4 liter engine that has 180hp. That power will be supported by a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
New Cupra will be introduced officially at the Paris Motor show this fall.

SEAT Ibiza SportCoupe combines impressive exterior design with dynamic qualities and a wide range of engine choices, which now includes the efficient 80 hp 1.4 and 90 hp 1.9 Diesel versions. Also a new seven-speed DSG gearbox is available with the new model.
Ibiza SportCoupe has a length of 4.034 metres and mere 1.428 metre height.

Since last 2 April, when the new SEAT Ibiza made its world debut at the Martorell Prototype Centre, three spectacular rigs equipped with glass showcases, a colourful light show and interior cameras have been making an intense, exciting tour around Europe in order to show off SEAT’s new model before its commercial launch.
In total, the design and sportiness of the new SEAT Ibiza will be on display in 17 European cities during the 40-day “Ibiza Tour” covering more than 50,000 kilometres.

SEAT is unveiling the new Ibiza this Wednesday at its development and production facility in Martorell near Barcelona, Spain. Sportiness and design, as well as SEAT’s customary high-quality precision, are the essential traits of the newcomer to the SEAT family.
Chairman of the Board of Management, Erich Schmitt, describes the company’s latest addition as follows: “The new SEAT Ibiza is the car for the young and the young-at-heart – people who appreciate design, sportiness and quality, yet are also environmentally aware.”

At the 2008 Geneva Motor Show, SEAT will unveil the prototype SportCoupé “Bocanegra”, a model which brims with character and sporting style from nose to tail. For the Spanish brand it marks the start of a product initiative extending over the next few years, which will include the important launch of the new-generation Ibiza as well as a new ‘B-segment’ saloon car, due to make its public debut in 2009.
