Scion Announces Pricing For Limited Edition xD Release Series 1.0

Torrance, CA - Scion announced that the third limited-production Scion for 2008, the xD Release Series 1.0 (xD RS 1.0), will be available at dealer showrooms beginning in June.

The 2008 xD RS 1.0 features Hot Lava exterior paint. This first limited edition xD will turn heads with a DAMD body kit, rear spoiler, Release Series wheel covers and TRD lowering springs. Inside, the xD RS 1.0 will feature Hot Lava accented seats and interior trim, and a RAZO Release Series shift knob. Like all Release Series vehicles, an individually numbered badge completes the uniqueness of this vehicle.

Scion released prices for 2009 xB and tC models

The only change the xB has undertaken is in color: Stingray Metallic will replace Nautical Blue.
With a five-speed manual transmission, the xB starts at $15,750.
Shoppers who want a four-speed automatic are ready to go at $16,700. Both prices were raised $100 from last year.

New York 2008: Scion reveals Hako Coupe Concept

Scion’s Hako Coupe was developed by Tokyo Design Division, which studied global, youth-inspired trends. Japanese and American youth cultures often influence each other and are interpreted with a unique twist.
The Hako Coupe Concept was inspired by the iconic xB and the emergence of American vintage style among young Tokyo trendsetters.
