2010 BMW X6 Twin TurboWe have seen the X6 already on the streets. Soon you can own the top version of the so called SAV (Sport Activity Vehicle).

Rumor is that the car is powered with 5.0 liter V10 with 507 hp from the next M5 and M6. Chances are that it will also get an M badge then.

IF this is the “regular” turbo version then it should have a 4.4 liter V8 that pops out around 400 hp.

Here we have pictures of the car on the famous Nürburgring.

New Jaguar XJ gets damaged on the Nürburgring
Nürburgring is not a safe track. It is not unusual for the track to be closed several times a day for cleanup, repair, and medical intervention. The track management does not publish any official figures, but regular visitors to the track have used police reports to estimate the number of fatalities at somewhere between 3-12 in a full year.

Thankfully the new XJ just had minor damage to the bonnet after a crash from a test drive on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

We are not sure yet is this the current redesigned XJ in testing or perhaps a test mule for the 2010 year model.

M1 on Nürburgring
The M1 coupe was hand-built between 1978 and 1981 under the Motorsport division of BMW as a homologation special for sports car racing. The body was designed by Giugiaro, taking inspiration from the 1972 BMW Turbo show car.
Originally, BMW commissioned Lamborghini to work out the details of the car’s chassis, assemble prototypes and manufacture the vehicles, but Lamborghini’s financial position meant that BMW reassumed control over the project in April 1978, after seven prototypes were built.

Only 456 production M1s were built, making it one of BMW’s rarest models. The spirit of the M1 lived on in the first-generation M5, as both models shared the same (though slightly modified) engines.
