Last weekend Ford showed 2010 Mustang in camouflage at the Kohler International Challenge vintage race.
2010 Ford Mustang served as the pace car for the vintage race field throughout the weekend.
The next-generation Mustang was outfitted in a special “camo” package, keeping some key design cues secret until its reveal later this year.

ROUSH will be unveiling the new limited-edition 2009 Roush RTC Mustang at the National Mustang Show in Dublin, Ohio this Friday.
The RTC will be limited to 200 units, all coupes with a two-tone paint scheme. Manual or automatic is available, ROUSHcharger is optional. Mustang RTC Package costs 13,375.00 dollars.

The idea of an electric Pony car or Shelby Cobra may not sit well with some but California-based HST International and design firm Tjaarda have developed a pair of electric vehicles ready for sale based on the aforementioned muscle cars.
Dubbed the Tjaarda EVX Mustang and HST Shelby Cobra EVX, the two new cars will be on show this weekend at the 34th Annual Toyota GP in Long Beach, California.

Ford Motor Company announced that it has built its 9 millionth Mustang. The GT Convertible Mustang is heading west to be delivered to a dealership in Iowa.
The Ford Mustang, approaching its 45th anniversary on April 17th, 2009, is one of the most widely recognized vehicles in the world. Today, one of every two sports cars sold in America is a Ford Mustang. The Mustang is also Ford Motor Company’s longest-running nameplate. Mustang was introduced on April 17, 1964, at the New York World’s Fair.

This weekend’s Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach, Florida, saw a pair of Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR muscle cars from the new Knight Rider series go under the hammer for $300,000.
The cars were sold together as a pair and the buyer was also offered the chance to snap up a brand new 2009 GT500KR, one of only 746 cars, for list price.

Ford unveils new ‘Warriors in Pink’ edition Mustang at the New York International Auto Show to raise money for breast cancer education and research.
The company is doubling its contribution to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure – to $500 for each Warriors in Pink Mustang sold.
Ford and its dealers together have dedicated more than $95 million in cash and in-kind contributions for breast cancer education and research.

During World War II, the P-51 Mustang was hailed as a savior of aviation and certainly played a major part in ending the conflict. Only 1000 Shelby GT500KR “King of the Road” special editions will be made. Much like the original KR that came from the capable hands of Carroll Shelby 40 years ago, this made-over Mustang is far more than just a plaque and fancy paint. A carbon-fiber hood will conceal a 540-bhp version of the supercharged 5.4-liter V-8 from the GT500 that’s been modified with parts from Ford Racing Performance Products.
