Fiat 500 CabrioRumors started in spring that Fiat is working on 500 Cabrio. Even company’s styling director confirmed it that they are working on an open top version. Here it is spied with a soft top.

We don’t know yet how will it look with a top down, but looking at the pictures the overall look should not change much as it is not the classical cabrio. It is just a 500 with a soft top. Perhaps Fiat has two open top variants planned for the 500?

In actual fact, two hundred Fiat 500 have been manufactured exclusively for the Ferrari sales network and will be driving on all of Europe’s roads.

To emphasise the authenticity of the project, brand activities have immediately focused on resuming and bringing up to date all the activities carried out in the past by Abarth & C., beginning with direct participation in Italian and international races, the organisation of single-brand trophies and the preparation of the cars for customers - moving through road cars and conversion kits to accessories and garments reflecting Abarth style.

Fiat 500 will get a convertible version

Fiat 500
When you travel in the southern Europe you will notice Fiat 500 everywhere. It has become a huge sales hit for Fiat. The closest competitor is probably Mini who already has a convertible version.

Now Fiat has confirmed that 500 will be getting a convertible version. Company’s styling director Roberto Giolito did not confirm any dates, but most likely it will be introduced this fall during some bigger car show in Europe.

Fiat 500 Abarth Assetto Corse
Abarth returns to track racing, and it has chosen to do so with its new ‘500 Abarth Assetto Corse’, the baby supersports car from Abarth, due to be produced in a Limited Edition (49 cars).

The new vehicle, designed by the Fiat Group Automobiles Style Centre and produced by a team of Abarth Engineers and Designers will be the star of track races from next year and its creation confirms Abarth’s racing vocation.

Engine tuning with up to 131 hp / 96.4 kW, even sportier handling characteristics with 16- and 17-inch tire/wheel combinations and matching suspension modifications, as well as a more striking front thanks to the NOVITEC front spoiler make the small Italian car even more desirable.

The aerodynamic-enhancement part is mounted to the production apron and lends the Fiat 500 an even more striking face. Integrated air dams provide cooling air to the front brakes. The front spoiler sells for 159 Euros MSRP.
