BMW GINA Light Visionary Model is made entirely out of textile fabric that is built around the frame of metal and carbon fiber wires.
The car can actually move and change shape beneath the fabric skin with electro-hydraulic devices. Don’t hope to see the car or on sale anywhere as it is a pure concept.
Its main purpose was to inspire designers and engineers to think outside the box.

DETROIT — If the car enthusiasts within General Motors prevail, Pontiac will further expand its lineup of rear-wheel-drive performance vehicles to include a 400-plus-horsepower V8-powered G8 coupe. Just don’t call it a GTO.
The coupe, which would be based on the Holden Coupe 60 concept the Australian division unveiled recently at the Melbourne auto show, would arrive in showrooms within three years’ time.

NEW YORK – Following its world premiere at the Geneva auto show earlier this month, the award-winning Saab 9-X BioHybrid premium compact concept is scheduled to make its American debut at the New York International Auto Show media days, beginning March 19.
“After its stunning performance in Geneva, we can’t wait to show the 9-X BioHybrid to the press and public here in America,” said Steve Shannon, Saab Automobile USA general manager.

The all-electric Lightning GT might just be the world’s first green supercar. It’s as clean as the Tesla Roadster, as quick as the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and as pricey as the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640.
“Without a significant positive shift in perception,” the company says, “electric motoring will remain a large compromise in the eyes of driving enthusiasts and therefore fail to impress the masses.”

Officially it will be presented in 2009 Geneva Motorshow.
Rumor is engine choises will include a 3.5-litre V6 with around 300bhp, a direct-injection 4.5-litre V8 with 350-400bhp and a twin-turbo version with 560bhp.
The new four-door model will compete against established rivals like the Mercedes Benz CLS, as well as the anticipated four-door model that Aston Martin exhibited in concept form named Rapide.

HOUSTON, TEXAS (November 20, 2007) - Hennessey Performance Engineering today announced that it is introducing the company’s first concept car - The Venom GT.
Penned by British auto designer, Steve Everitt, the Venom GT would incorporate Hennessey’s potent Venom 1000 Twin Turbo Viper V10 powerplant into a light weight mid-engine chassis weighing “under 2,700 lbs”. Power would be run through a 6-speed transmission or optional sequential gearbox.

Hyundai has revealed its highly anticipated Concept Genesis Coupe at the Los Angeles International Auto Show.
