Two weeks ago we brought you spy pictures of the upcoming Audi TT RS. Now we have a great video of the TT RS in action on the green hell.

Though the car almost looks like the current TT S it is actually a test mule for the RS version.
Audi TT RS should get 370 hp and will most likely be introduced this fall.

Audi R8 Safety Car
Ingolstadt/Nürnberg – Double début at the Norisring in Nuremberg: This weekend, the Audi R8 will be used as the official DTM safety car for the first time – and as a racing taxi as well.

quattro GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of AUDI AG handed over two of the 420-hp mid-engine sports cars to the German Motorsport Association (DMSB) on the occasion of the “Norisring Speed Weekend”.

2009 Audi RS6 Limousine
New RS6 Limousine spotted with no disguise in Germany. It will have 580 hp as the Avant version. Cost in Germany will be over 100,000 EUR.

As you can see from the pictures the new RS6 Limousine will have the same rear lights as the new facelifted A6.

Audi R8 V10 spied in front of the Audi headquarters

It is very hard for photographers to spot all the new models that are on the way. Usually they wear a very heavy camouflage and are tested somewhere in the middle of nowhere. This time the upcoming R8 V10 was spotted right in front of the Audi headquarters.

New super R8 has wider intakes, more aggressive body kit, s-style grill and larger oval exhaust pipes.

Eleven Audi A4 2.0 TDI models take part in efficiency marathon

On June 23, eleven white Audi A4 2.0 TDI models took to the start in the efficiency competition organized by Audi and Auto Bild.

To stand a chance of winning, however, the teams have to complete the total distance of over 1,650 kilometers (1,025.26 miles) with an average fuel consumption of under four liters (over 58.80 US mpg).

In addition to Audi TT RS that our photographers captured on Nürburgring we have pictures of the new S4 Avant spotted in Germany.

New S4 Avant will be getting s-line bumpers, biggers breaks. Power will come from a new 3.0-liter TFSI twin-turbo that produces 330 horses. Of course the car has LED lights. Rumor is that even though the new S4 Avant will have less power than the previous model it wont be slower. 0-60 will be on low five second range.

Here we have latest pictures of the TT RS. TT has the looks, but it never has had the real power. Now with the TT RS things should change.

Major difference to the TT S are two oval exhaust pipes at the rear(TT S has four) and double spoked wheels.

Power should be around 370 hp and it will definetely offer some serious competition to the Porsche Cayman and BMW Z4.

Audi A7 prototype spied

Here we have Audi A7 prototype spied with very heavy disguise. Under that brown cover you find a camouflaged four door coupe which is the next Audi A7 spied on first tests in the countryside.

You can see that the front bumper looks absolutely different from the current models from Audi. Also the lights seem to be different. The car looks very low and is in a size of a VW Passat CC Coupe and a Mercedes CLS. Audi will launch A7 in June 2009.

A7 will also come as afour-door soft-top convertible! Also expect an S7, RS7 and hybrid model. The RS7 model will use the RS6’s twin-turbocharged 5.2L V10 pumping out 600 horsepower to the all-wheel-drive system.

A7 will most likely compete with Mercedes CLS and Porsche Panamera.

Audi R8 V10 spied

Audi R8 V10
Current R8 is powered by a 4.2 litre V8 that has 420 hp. Audi has been working on the V10 version and the test car was spotted on Nürburgring. Here we have spy pictures of the new V10 R8 that were uploaded by a user on rs6.com.

V10 version of R8 will produce over 500 hp from its 5.2 liter engine. Coupe version will be available in June 2009 and Spyder in March 2010.

First full-LED headlamp for the Audi R8

Audi R8 led light
The range of equipment available for the Audi R8 sports car now also includes the first full-LED headlamp. In addition to the daytime running light which now features 24 LEDs per headlamp, light-emitting diodes are also used for the turn signals, the low-beam and the high-beam headlights.

The €3,590 option rounds out the list of equipment available for the high-tech, mid-engine sports car.

15 years of growth and continuous success: Audi Hungaria, a fully-owned subsidiary of AUDI AG, is celebrating its 15th anniversary in Győr this year. In spring 1993, AUDI AG signed a purchase agreement for the acquisition of a production hall from Rába, a truck manufacturer based in Győr, and announced the establishment of AUDI HUNGARIA MOTOR Kft.
The purchase of the 100,000 square meter (1,076,391 square foot) production hall was the first milestone in the history of Audi Hungaria. The plant has since grown to 1.6 million square meters (17,222,256 square feet). 5,800 employees build nearly two million engines and over 55,000 automobiles there each year. More than €3.3 billion has been invested in the plant in total.

Here we have a video from Audi of the new S3.There is now a second top model on the market, with the S3 Sportback joining the three-door Audi S3. Both versions are equipped with the same engine, the reengineered 2.0 TFSI with an output of 195 kW (265 hp). With 350 Nm (258.15 lb-ft) of torque available constantly from 2,500 to 5,000 rpm, the direct-injection, two-liter turbo catapults the three-door model from 0 to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 5.7 seconds (Sportback: 5.8 seconds); the top speed is limited electronically to 250 km/h (155.34 mph).

Audi has developed a technology which promises more relaxed, safer motoring: the Audi braking guard brake assist system is designed to reduce the risk of rear-end collisions.

It is one of a whole generation of intelligent assistance systems which monitor the area surrounding the car in order to offer additional protection. Audi braking guard is available for the A4, A4 Avant, A6, A8 and Audi Q7 model lines, as well as for the new Q5.

Audi A3 TDI Clubsport Quattro Concept
Audi, the inventor of TDI, blazes a trail in the field of engine manufacture. At the 27th annual Lake Wörther Tour being held at the end of May in the Austrian province of Carinthia, the brand behind the four rings is showcasing this technology’s potential with a sensational study.

The two-liter TDI unit under the bonnet of the Audi A3 TDI clubsport quattro delivers 165 kW (224 hp) and musters up 450 Nm (331.90 lb-ft) of torque – the sort of pulling power normally associated with a sports car. The show car races from 0 to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in just 6.6 seconds and attains a top speed of 240 km/h (149.13 mph).

European Inventor of the Year Award
The European Patent Office has named AUDI AG European Inventor of the Year. The honor is bestowed on companies whose ideas have made significant contributions to Europe’s economic growth and competitiveness. Audi was recognized for the invention of Audi Space Frame technology (ASF).

Günter Verheugen, Vice-President of the European Commission, honored the winners. “The European Inventors of the Year 2008 have developed true innovations.” The award, which has now been presented for the third time, is intended to promote Europe’s image as the “Continent of Innovations.”

Audi to offer electric cars in 5-10 years

Reuters reports that Audi sees great opportunities in electric cars and will offer automobiles with no exhaust emissions within ten years, its top executive told a German weekly.

Rupert Stadler told Welt am Sonntag in an interview published on Sunday that he expects diesel and battery technology to dominate in the coming five to ten years.

“By then we will offer cars without exhaust emissions,” Stadler said.

Future Lamborghinis will use no more than 20 per cent of Audi parts in an attempt to stave off criticism that the firm’s Gallardo shares too many key characteristics with the Audi R8.

In the future Lamborghini will have will use only Audi arts that are hidden in its models — parts that will not touch the DNA of Lamborghini.

Audi has revealed Q5 S-Line package

Audi Q5 S-Line
The new Audi Q5 was revealed less than a month and already we have the images of S-Line.
The S-Line package helps to improve the Q5’s handling thanks to the addition of a stiffened suspension kit as well as optional 20in alloy wheels wrapped in 255mm performance tires.

The car’s exterior include black exterior window trim roof rails, a polished grille and matching mesh pattern air vents surrounding the fog lights.
