Automakers plan is to introduce production ready all-electric car in 2010 in Japan and as well in the U.S.
The all-electric Denki Cube has a small electric motor and lithium-ion batteries that have enough power to cover over 100 miles on a single charge. Top speed is around 75 mph. The batteries were developed with NEC and take around eight hours to fully charge.
Denki(means electric in Japanese) Cube is based on the JDM Cube minicar that is petrol powered and has been on sale in Japan for few years.
