All we know that this accident happened in Qatar on the 15th when a 22-year old driver lost control of the Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR.
We don’t know did the driver survive. We hope for the best, but looking at the pictures it is hard to believe anyone would survive a crash like that.
Money should not be the issue as Qatar is a very rich oil country and it comes to us no surprise that 22-year old ones drive supercars that most of us can only dream of.
No information on what was the speed, what the car hit and did it explode(looking at the pictures it seems that it has exploded).

Did he hit a Camel?
What else can be there on the desert?
Or perhaps he hit another 20-year old who was driving Carrera GT or a Veyron.
he didn’t change tires….
slick tires…
It looks like it hit an IED or some type of landmine.
Then it would be safer than a tank if he walked away from that accident.
Good lord! what in the world di the guy hit? was he trying to prove he could be the next James Bond or somethin? cars in a junkyard are in better condition than this McLarren. There should be an age limit for people to drive Mclarrens. driver might be alive but badly injured or unconscious cuz the cabin didnt crumple around the drivers area. But results can be far different from that if he wasnt wearing the humble seatbelt.
OK, so I checked out the news on google and found out that that the car was a gift from his dad. A speed camera recorded his speed at a hair-raising 280 km/h in a 100 km/h zone! what he hit is unconfirmed: one says he hit a camel and another article says he hit a rock after losng control which sounds probable looking at the extent of the damage.
O, the bad news is, he wasnt wearing a seatbelt and, well… may his soul R.I.P.
