Since 2001, TECHART GTstreet vehicles have been among the fastest and highest performance sports cars in the world. This high performance is reflected in the GTstreet RS’s statistics - 700 hp and 515 KW – with a maximum torque of 860 Nm.
This power is achieved through the use of modified turbochargers, enlarged carbon inlet pipes, specially developed intercoolers, a sports flap exhaust combined with high-performance headers, modified pressure sensor and a sports air filter.

Long waited four door sedan by Porsche will arrive next year. Now Inside Line has some very interesting information about the engines and what are the price tags.
Top of the line Panamera will get a 4.8-liter 520 hp twin turbo V8 and will cost $197,000. Top speed on that car is 186 mph!
Below Turbocharged V8 will be a normally aspirated V8 version.

Honda’s low-emission sportscar study model has been revealed at the British International Motor Show, at ExCeL, London.
The lightweight roadster design study displays one of Honda’s core engineering principles – to design stylish and exciting cars that are also environmentally responsible.
Named the OSM (for Open Study Model), the two-seater joins the confirmed-for-production CR-Z sports hybrid and FCX Clarity hydrogen fuel cell car on the Honda stand at the show.

We have seen the X6 already on the streets. Soon you can own the top version of the so called SAV (Sport Activity Vehicle).
Rumor is that the car is powered with 5.0 liter V10 with 507 hp from the next M5 and M6. Chances are that it will also get an M badge then.
IF this is the “regular” turbo version then it should have a 4.4 liter V8 that pops out around 400 hp.

New sports car by Lotus will not be called Eagle as everyone thought until today.
Today Lotus unveiled Evora. It is the first all-new Lotus since the iconic Elise made its debut in 1995, The Evora enters the sports car market as currently the world’s only mid-engined 2+2.
Powered by a Lotus-tuned 3.5-litre V6 Toyota engine producing 280 PS, and weighing just 1350 kg (prototype specification), the Evora promises breathtaking performance.

Opel has announced attractive pricing for its new top model, the Insignia, debuting today at the British International Motor Show 2008.
Even though its technology and design solidly place the Insignia at the top of the mid-size class, its prices start at the bottom of the segment.
The entry-level model – the four-door sedan with the 115 hp 1.6 ECOTEC gasoline engine – costs 22,700 euros. Pricing for the diesels in Germany for the 110 hp 2.0 CDTI starts at 24,300 euros.

Subaru has scored a high-performance hat-trick for the British International Motor Show with the launch of no less than three new Special Edition new-shape Impreza models – two of which can be seen at the show.
All receive Prodrive engine upgrades plus comfort and styling tweaks, giving enthusiasts an unprecedented choice of sporty Subarus.
The 255 PS Impreza WRX-S costs a highly-competitive £22,495 while the 330 PS Impreza WRX STI 330S will be priced at around £30,000 (both on-the-road). First deliveries are expected in September.

Land Rover’s engineers are now conducting real-world tests with some ground-breaking Diesel ERAD Hybrid vehicles, aimed at dramatically cutting CO2 and other emissions while still delivering characteristic Land Rover all-terrain performance.
These engineering ‘mules’ are based on Freelander 2 vehicles, but the technology is designed to be scalable and modular, so could be applied across a variety of Land Rover models and powertrains.

The London Motor Show is the first car showcase where SEAT is publicly displaying the new Ibiza SportCoupé, the vehicle that completes the Spanish brand’s range of this successful model after the launch last May of the five-door version, and whose new exterior design and compact coupé styling greatly increase its sporty appeal.
The Ibiza unit chosen by SEAT is characterised by the addition of customisation elements on the Sport version that heighten the new model’s already good looks, and reflects the strategy introduced at the international trade press presentation of gradually increasing the possibilities of customising the Ibiza SC.

Celebrating Saab’s unique aircraft heritage, its Aero performance range is expanded for Model Year 2009 to include BioPower, as well as a turbo diesel and gasoline engine options.
Saab leads the automotive sector in exploiting the environmental benefits of bioethanol as a renewable fuel for its BioPower flex-fuel engines, which also deliver more power when running on E85 (85% bioethanol,15% gasoline). Now this technology is available for the first time in Aero specification for both 9-3 and 9-5 product ranges.

The latest addition to the Renault Sport family is Mégane R26.R, a car that has been engineered for performance and extreme driving enjoyment.
Mégane R26.R is based on Mégane F1 Team R26 and uses the same engine, gearbox and limited slip differential, but has been lightened by 123kg and features specific suspension calibration.
On June 23, 2008, Mégane R26.R established a new lap record for its category round the legendary Nürburgring in Germany with a time of 8m 17s which confirms its extreme performance calling.

Originally this vintage Silver Shadow featured a 189 hp 6.75-liter V8. Now that 6.75-liter V8 has been swapped out for a 592 Hemi that has dual-stage nitrous system. Total power output is at 1040 hp.
Chrome engine that pops out the hood is definetely not your ordinary Rolls. But the inside with a roll cage covered with leather looks very classy.
The car also has a roll cage that is covered with the same leather as rest of the interior. I must say that the inside looks very classy.

Chevrolet today revealed the new production Camaro, a heritage-inspired sports car for the 21st century, combining great looks and performance, advanced technology and surprising efficiency. Sales in the United States will begin in the first quarter of 2009. The European launch will follow later.
The rear-wheel-drive Camaro comes with two engine options - a V6 and a V8 engine for the SS sports version.

London. As workers hauled a 4.7 meter-diameter orb from Potters Fields Park, a massive object fell 45 meters in six seconds and was caught at the last minute, revealing an intact car never seen before by the public – the Opel Insignia.
More than 300 invited guests were on hand to watch the new car plunge from the orb as it was suspended in the air. “We are very proud of the Insignia and decided that an extraordinary car needed an extraordinary entrance.

Ginetta is to launch an all-new British sports car for 2008, designated the Ginetta G50, the car has been designed in-house at LNT Automotive’s new purpose-built factory in Leeds.
The G50 is a celebration of 50 years of British sports car manufacturing by the company, and has been designed as the base for a new generation of Ginetta sports cars.
2008 and will see the Ginetta ‘G50 Cup Car’ launched, this car is designed to bridge the gap between single-make sports car racing such as the current Ginetta G20 championship – and GT cars such as the new GT4 Championship, GT3 and GT2 racing.

Last weekend Ford showed 2010 Mustang in camouflage at the Kohler International Challenge vintage race.
2010 Ford Mustang served as the pace car for the vintage race field throughout the weekend.
The next-generation Mustang was outfitted in a special “camo” package, keeping some key design cues secret until its reveal later this year.

This particular Coupe is the fourth built and only the second available to the public. It features a unique paint scheme featuring a carbon fiber spears on the front, back, and sides surrounded by flames hand painted by Chip Foose himself.
Power comes from a 392ci (6.4L) Hemi V8 producing approximately 500 horsepower and 480 lb-ft torque, with power being sent to the wheels through a 5-speed manual transaxle.
