Toyota will reveal the all new micro car named iQ next month in Paris. Measuring less than 3 meters (10 feet) in length and with a unique 3+1 seating the car will accommodate three adults and a child.
According to Toyota it is the smallest four-seater production car in the world. iQ will be offered with two gasoline engines.

At the Paris Motor show next month Toyota will reveal the world’s smalles four-seater named iQ. iQ measures less than 3 meters (10 feet) in length.
Sales are expected to start soon after the Paris Motor Show. Toyota estimates that they can sell about 100,000 vehicles a year. Now the rumor is that Toyota is already working on a hybrid version.

At this years Paris Motor Show in October Toyota will unveil its redesigned Avensis model for Europe. Avensis is known in the North America as Avalon.
Toyota has only revealed one image of the new Avensis, but it gives a good idea on the changes we can expect on the front as well.

Now Publicis Mojo agency in Sydney, Australia has come up with a Toyota Camry print ad that definetely got my attention.

Inside Line has the information that Toyota-Subaru Rear-Wheel-Drive Coupe is in the works and the Subaru version will be sold worldwide whereas the Toyota version will be sold exclusively only in Japan.
The car will be based on the Subaru Impreza powertrain that will be modified to a rear-wheel drive. New coupe will be powered by a naturally aspirated 2.0 liter boxer engine that produces 220 hp at 6500 rpm.

Toyota announced today that worldwide cumulative sales of the Toyota Prius-the world’s first mass-produced gasoline/electric hybrid vehicle-have passed the 1 million mark, with approximately 1,028,000 units sold as of the end of April this year*1. Currently, Prius sales are robust in more than 40 countries and regions, particularly in Japan and North America.
Based on sales figures collected up to April 30, 2008, TMC believes that Prius vehicles worldwide have contributed to a reduction in CO2 emissions (considered a cause of global warming) by producing approximately 4.5 million tons*2 less CO2 when compared with gasoline-powered vehicles in the same class and of similar size and driving performance.

According to the owner it took approximately 6 months to complete all the work. It is, to our and his knowledge the only convertible Prius ever done. It was stripped to the bare metal, (interior) and every piece of the interior was removed and a complete custom rebuild, piece by piece) was undertaken by Newport Engineering in California.
The side air bags had to be removed and the side interior moldings had to be rebuilt to allow the frame to set properly.

Toyota’s long-anticipated sports car will arrive in 2011. It will be jointly developed with Subaru and boast a boxer engine.
The compact, rear-wheel-drive “affordable” car will be built at a new Japanese plant to be set up by Fuji Heavy Industries, parent of the Subaru brand.
Each company will market the car separately and badge it as its own.

Chrysler co-President Jim Press is stirring things up at his former employer, Toyota Motor Corp., by saying development of the Prius hybrid was subsidized by the Japanese government.
In a BusinessWeek story published Thursday, March 24, Press said that when he was at Toyota, “The Japanese government paid for 100 percent of the development of the battery and hybrid system that went into the Toyota Prius.”

Toyota introduced iQ microcar at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month, and now AutoWeek is reporting that the company may import the iQ to the U.S. Thats if it can meet federal safety standards.
iQ is less than 118 inches in length. Wheelbase is nearly 79 inches.
