In May we brought a computer renderings of the new supercar Scuderia Bizzarrini P538. As they were just renderings we were very skeptical that the real car will ever be produced.
Thankfully the guys behind the project have been working hard and we can already see the construction photos of the car. Scuderia Bizzarrini P538 has a full carbon monocoque(of the Arbitrage GT) and body work.

Paret has his French diploma in Mechanical and Conception. His first project is a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4.

Chrysler has big plans on selling the Viper brand. Bad timing I guess as the Viper seems to be more of a supercar than we all thought.
Motor Trend took the Dodge Viper ACR, added there a Racetech seat with a six-point harness and the rest of the car stayed factory spec fitted with the Hard Core package. Hard Core package sheds around 40 pounds of the curb weight.

We thought that all these chromed and gold plated-cars can monstly be seen in oil-rich countries. Now London based new and used luxury car dealer Mayfair Prestige has put up for sale a very special Murcielago PL640. It is a chromed(actually chrome painted) Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 by Hamann.
Probably even more surprising is the price they ask for the car. Sale price is £340,000 (about $625,000). The car has a mileage of 5000 km. So someone with a very expensive and different taste has decided to sell his pimped Murcielago.

For the first time, Audi Sport will offer a racing sports car specifically developed for customer use in the form of the powerful 500 hp plus GT3 version of the Audi R8 which will be available from autumn 2009.
The logistics and factory space required for the AUDI AG customer programme will be created over the next few months in Ingolstadt, Neckarsulm and Györ.

It has been a while since we last heard anything from the Swedish supercar maker. Now Koenigsegg seems to be going where Porsche is going with Panamera and Aston with Rapide.
Koenigsegg is looking to launch a 700hp V8-engined four-door saloon by 2011. Prototype version should be first seen at the Geneva Motor Show in 2010.

Bugatti unveiled the new Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport with a unique removable roof at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. It has two removable roofs. First one is a transparent polycarbonate hard-top that can’t be stored in the car.
Second one is an umbrella-like soft top that can be taken with you. What is the down side? Well the soft top has a speed limit of 80 mph so you can’t go 252 mph like you can do with the polycarbonate roof.

The Corvette Z06 ClubSport package – available exclusively from Katech Performance and Les Stanford Chevrolet (Dearborn, Mich.) – incorporates an array of aftermarket products that, in unison, reduce curb weight to 2,915 lbs. (2,825 lbs. fully optimized) while improving grip, cornering, braking and downforce.

Trident Performance Vehicles have designed and produced a two-seater sports car that can reach over 200mph, get from 0-60mph in under 4 seconds and deliver up to 100mpg.
It’s a diesel sports car and if you’re able to obtain any kind of biodiesel, this can be used without any invalidation of warranty, adjustment to the engine or affect on performance.

Here we have an open top R8 prototype with a soft top and no camouflage heading to the Nürburgring. It looks to us a cabrio or a spider not the targa as some have speculated.
We have no information on the engine, but pretty sure that the 420hp 4.2-liter V8 engine on the current coupe version will find its way into the new open top R8. Also Audi is working on the V10 version of R8, so in addition to the coupe we are sure that the V10 will also be offered on the cabrio version.

Bugatti unveiled the new Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport with a unique removable roof at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. It is the world’s fastest and most exciting roadster.
It is immediately recognizable as a result of its slightly higher windscreen, stylized daytime running lights, and lightweight, transparent polycarbonate roof.

China Premium Lifestyle Enterprise, Inc. delivered two of only three FXX Evoluzione models to be built by Ferrari to Hong Kong customers during a handover ceremony in Fiorano, Italy, near the Italian car company’s factory.
The third car was presented to an unspecified European client.
Ferrari had very strict criteria set for ownership of this limited series range. The cost of this supercar is near $3.0 million.

Lamborghini Zagato Raptor is probably even more unique than the Lamborghini Reventon. Zagato launched an exciting new sportscar on the occasion of the 1996 Geneva Show. It never went into production and has remained as one-of-a-kind concept.
Raptor features a novel modular cockpit lay-out with a front-hinged, one-piece greenhouse section which includes the doors, windscreen and the company’s famous double-bubble roofline.

End of June, GM announced that Stock ZR1 is faster on the Nürburgring than Nissan GT-R. GM even made a video available of the ZR1 lapping the ring.
Stock ZR1 Lapped Nürburgring in just 7:26.4! For comparison the Nissan GT-R time was 7:29.
Now GM has supplied media with some pictures of the Corvette ZR1 on the Nürburgring. These are not actual shots of the record run, but they still look great.

Corvette ZR1 production will be 2000 units per year. ZR1 retail price is $105,000 dealers are adding upwards upwards of $50,000 to the price of each new ZR1.
Even at that price we believe it is a good bargain compared to what the ZR1 will cost in Europe.
