MANSORY, the specialist in upgrading super sports cars and luxury limousines has now taken the SLR McLaren giving it aerodynamic and mechanical enhancements.
Aerodynamic changes include a carbon fiber front apron, side skirts and rear apron. Mechanical enhancements include a high performance compressors, a sports air filter and a modified engine management system.

The new Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster 722 S opens up astonishing dimensions when it comes to open-top driving. Delivering 478 kW/650 hp, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and a maximum speed of 335 km/h, this two-seater cabriolet surpasses the existing benchmark among open-top super sports cars – the SLR McLaren Roadster.
Both vehicles feature a fully retractable folding soft top capable of withstanding the high speed and are made of carbon fibre.

Though we have seen the real thing on different spy pictures there is room to speculate how the car will look without all the camouflage.
Now a very talented artist Jon Sibal has created a rendering of the SLR Speedster. It looks just awesome. There is no doubt that the car will find its spot between all the other special and exclusive supercars.

Basically it is a SLR 722 with no windscreen and roof that weighs 200 kg less than the coupe version. The 5.5-liter supercharged V-8 is believed to be left untouched, but will be mated to an all-new exhaust system that will allow the motor to churn out more that the stock 617 horsepower.

All we know that this accident happened in Qatar on the 15th when a 22-year old driver lost control of the Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR.
We don’t know did the driver survive. We hope for the best, but looking at the pictures it is hard to believe anyone would survive a crash like that.
Money should not be the issue as Qatar is a very rich oil country and it comes to us no surprise that 22-year old ones drive supercars that most of us can only dream of.
No information on what was the speed, what the car hit and did it explode(looking at the pictures it seems that it has exploded).

We have brought you pictures of the Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR Speedster from the Nürburgring before.
This time the car is back on the Nürburgring with a new detail on the rear. For some reason it has a rear spoiler that it did not have on the first tests. We assume that the car before had some problems and did not have enough downforce. It looks to be a fixed-type spoiler that is not adjustable.

When Mercedes-Benz introduced its SLR McLaren 722, there was a bit of confusion about the special-edition’s name. Many believed the car would offer a fire-breathing, 722 hp supercharged V8, but it doesn’t (it makes 650 hp).
Some believed that “722″ meant there would be 722 of the cars made … but that was wrong, too. In the end, the 722 badge actually referred to 7:22AM - the starting time of Sterling Moss’ epic 1955 Mille Miglia run in a then-new Mercedes SLR.

With the SLR coupé already out of production (it quietly slipped away at the end of last year), the SLR’s five-year run is scheduled to finish next year when the last roadster rolls off the line.
It is a clear sign that two partners are getting ready to part ways as McLaren has its own supercar in the making.

Lewis Hamilton has been promised a $4 million McLaren supercar for free - if he wins the world titles this year.
The 23-year-old British driver told The Sun newspaper that he first clapped eyes on the ultra-rare McLaren LM in the team’s F1 factory ten years ago.
“When I first went to McLaren it was there and I fell in love with it,” he said of the orange LM, one of only five such cars in the world.
