It has been a while since we last heard anything from the Swedish supercar maker. Now Koenigsegg seems to be going where Porsche is going with Panamera and Aston with Rapide.
Koenigsegg is looking to launch a 700hp V8-engined four-door saloon by 2011. Prototype version should be first seen at the Geneva Motor Show in 2010.

Over the last weekend Top Gear was filming one of their eposides for the new season in Abu Dhabi. In addition they were doing photo shoots in different locations. At first the producers were looking for one Veyron but were offered three! Surely you can’t find another place in the world, where you can find 3 Veyrons in 48 hours.
Owners asked to stay anonymous. By the way one of them(the aluminium one) was Veyron Pur Sang that only had a total production of FIVE.

It features a 5.0L twin supercharged Koenigsegg engine, together with many other unique features. The car is more track biased compared to the standard models, as it has stiffer springs and anti-roll bars, reset dampers and lowered chassis. It also features a fully visible carbon body a large adjustable rear wing, larger front splitter and side strakes for increased down force and a unique forged wheel design.
