Hyundai plans to unveil an enhanced version of the 375-horsepower Tau V8 engine in its Genesis sedan at the upcoming SEMA auto show. The high performance Genesis sedan will be jointly developed by Hyundai America Technical Center -HATCI and RKSport, Inc. company.
The RKSport Genesis will feature the Platinum Silver color scheme, which will highlight the body kit, exterior components, clean lines and contours of the vehicle.

Hyundai has developed a new high-performance V6 Lambda RS (Rear wheel drive Sports) engine which will see its first application in the new Genesis Coupe.
Based on the Lambda first introduced in 2004, the RS edition features several key modifications which have increased power to a maximum of 310ps@6300rpm (310hp for US Market).
The 2010 Genesis Coupe will feature two performance-focused engines - a 212 horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a range-topping all-aluminum, 310 horsepower , DOHC 3.8-liter V6 engine.

Designed at Hyundai’s European headquarters in Russelsheim, Germany, the new i20 follows in the stylish European footsteps of the acclaimed i10 and i30 models. Lower, longer and wider than the Getz it replaces, the five-door i20 rides on an extended 2525mm wheelbase.

Lately it seems that there isn’t a single day anymore when we don’t get the news about new electric cars. This time it is Hyundai, which is going to launch a full electric car already this November in New Zealand.
The plug-in electric car will be based on the Getz and according to Hyundai it is the first electric vehicle for sale in any volumes in New Zealand.

Hyundai Motor America announced that it is partnering with Street Concepts, one of the leading developers of auto show vehicles, to create a modified Genesis Coupe for the 2008 SEMA. The all-new, rear-wheel drive Street Concepts Genesis Coupe will make its SEMA Show debut at the Las Vegas Convention Center on November 4, 2008.
The Street Concepts Genesis Coupe will join vehicles designed by Rhys Millen and HKS as the third Genesis Coupe scheduled to appear at SEMA.

UPDATE! After analyzing photos the car pictured should be the new Sonata or the upcoming Renault Laguna sedan not the VI.

In South Korea customers have been able to pre-order the long waited rear-wheel drive Genesis Coupe since Friday. Customers who place their orders now will be able to pick up their cars on September 26th.
To celebrate that day Hyundai has released a first Genesis Coupe commercial.

HKS will create a high-performance Genesis Coupe for the 2008 SEMA show. The all-new, rear-wheel drive Hyundai model will make its SEMA debut at the Las Vegas Convention Center Nov. 4 – Nov. 7, 2008.

We have seen the Hyundai i20 prototype on test drives. Now Hyundai is reportedly working on a new minicar, that is smaller than the i10 and should compete against the mini cars like Toyota iQ.
New unnamed mini car will be competing in the 800 cc segment. Rumor is that the car will be production ready in three to four years.

Hyundai Getz has been on the market for a while already. We can’t confirm it 100%, as the car is disguised quit well, but this here is most likely the 2010 Hyundai i20 prototype as a 5-door version.

The Hyundai-Kia Automotive Group has entered the top five of the world’s largest automakers, moving from 11th place in 1999 to 5th place in 2007, out-selling rivals such as Honda, Nissan, PSA / Peugeot, Chrysler and Fiat.

Hyundai says it will become the next manufacturer to produce a range of hybrid vehicles.
While the Korean car company is busying itself building Sonata sedans in Alabama, and working on a new engine plant nearby, along with a Kia manufacturing facility in neighboring Georgia, it also tells the Wall Street Journal it’s planning on launching a hybrid model called the “Avante,” starting next year.

Last November Hyundai introduced Genesis Coupe concept at the LA auto show. Now the pictures of the production ready model have leaked to the web.
